Rosacea & Redness

What is Sensitive Skin?

There is no actual dermatological definition for sensitive skin but the term is generally used to describe skin that has been irritated or sensitized as a result of products or environmental factors.

Symptoms of sensitive skin can include blotchiness, rashes, itching or stinging skin and treatments used to alleviate these symptoms can often contribute to the overall problem. That’s why it’s important to follow a regime that corrects the damage caused by outside influences, rather than one that only treats the resulting symptoms and, therefore, masks the root cause.

What is Rosacea?

Rosacea is a chronic, inflammatory skin condition that most often affects the face. Rosacea worsens with time if left untreated. It is often mistaken for acne, eczema, or a skin allergy.

Cosemeceutical and medical grade skin care can help repair and restrengthen the skin along with calming ingredients to support the skins barrier function.
